An antique German Aquamanile form patinated bronze cigar lamp. Lion lamp designed as a cigar lamp based on a medieval model with a handle shaped tail and curved wick holder that sprouts from the mouth and whose cover is secured with a chain to the breastplate. On the head is the oil filling opening with a plug, the long rod with a thickening for lighting the cigar. Marked with an impressed stamp, Germany. Circa: early 20th century.
