A Russian Orthodox hand painted icon pendant in 84 Silver oklad. The rectangular piece represents an icon of Icon Our Lady of Tenderness, Korsun Mother of God. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wooden board. Presented in a repousse Silver oklad, covered with polychrome enamel cross, foliage, foliate scroll ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. A fitting ring is on the top. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers mark, on the bottom of the piece. Russian Religious Silver Wares and Accessories For Collectors. Total weight 43.20 g.
