A large Russian solid silver centerpiece. The piece has a distinctive, slightly elongated, oval shape with a wide, open top. The centerpiece is hand chiseled with a repeating woven pattern that creates a textured surface. It rests on three clawed feet. The bowl is decorated with overlay decor in the form of several insects, including a bee, a beetle, a fly, and a spider. Hallmarked with the manufacturer and 84 Russian silver standard.
