The body of the ware is covered with enamel in a yellow shade, decorated with an overlay representing a Russian Imperial double headed eagle set with diamonds and a Ruby stone in the center. The piece is topped with a silver owl head, engraved with detailed patterns and encrusted with Ruby stone eyes.
