Utagawa Kunisada, Japanese, 1786 to 1865, a woodblock print depicting the celebrated kabuki actor Nakamura Nojio. Signed and inscribed. Utagawa Kunisada was a ukiyo-e artist. He is considered the most popular, prolific and commercially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints in 19th-century Japan.
