An antique German hand painted porcelain cabinet plate. the plate is adorned with a hand painted scene depicting Saint Cecilia playing organ with cherubs after the original painting by Gustav Naujok, German, 1861 to 1941. St. Cecilia is the patroness of musicians and Church music. The plate is adorned with gilded medallions representing a symmetrical design of swans surrounded by floral, foliage, foliate scroll ornaments. The ware is decorated with scalloped rims.
