An antique Chinese export filigree reticulated silver sculpture of a bird spreading its wings and standing atop an ebonized wood base. The birds feathers are covered with polychrome cloisonne enamel, the tail feathers are inset with turquoise cabochons, and further cobalt and purple enamel details are done at the eyes.
