Design by Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, 1696 to 1775, a German porcelain painter, a key early figure in defining the styles of decoration for Meissen porcelain. A total of 7 items, including two cups, two saucers, a coffee pot with moveable handle, a footed creamer, and a serving plate. The coffee pot has the signature faceted shape. The pieces are garnished with hand-painted Rococo galant scenes in landscape surroundings. Richly garnished with ornamental gilding. Each item has a crossed swords hallmark on the bottom.
