An antique Russian Orthodox icon of Saint Yevgeny or Eugene. Hand painted in egg tempera, gesso, gold leaf and levkas on a wood board with raised kovcheg borders. Saint Yevgeny is depicted with an ornate golden halo and a cross in his right hand. Inscribed in the Cyrillic: St. Martyr Yevgeny. Russian Orthodox Icons, Antiques And Collectibles.
