An antique 19th century Russian Orthodox icon of the Feast The Resurrection of Christ, Palekh school. Hand painted in egg tempera, gesso, gold leaf and levkas on a wood board with raised kovcheg borders. The icon consists of small panels representing the Twelve Great Feasts of the Orthodox Church, with the scene of Ressurrection in the center. Panels are titled in Church Slavonic.
