A large extremely rare and beautiful Russian Slavic Revival silver kovsh featuring a gold washed interior. The matte hand chased silver ground is decorated with a colorful nicely shaded cloisonne enamel decor depicting a stylized architectural view with traditional Russian houses and bridges. A flat massive handle is also decorated with a cloisonne enamel image of a mythical bird with a human face, possibly Sirin, on both sides. Marked to the bottom with an 88 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right and other Russian hallmarks. Decorative Art, Russian Silver Antiques And Collectibles.
