Hw was a contemporary, sometimes a compatriot, and very often a close friend of some of the greatest famous artists of his time, such as Chagall, El Lissitsky, Kandinsky, Larionov, Gontcharova, Malevitch, Pevsner, Arp, Robert, and Sonia Delaunay.
