Lot 0276: ANCIENT ROMAN GLASS JUG AND TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP

41 reviews

A lot of two ancient Roman items including a glass jug and a terracotta oil lamp, circa 100 to 300 AD. The jug featuring a light green color with threading. The threading on the jug indicates a high level of skill in glass working, as artisans would manipulate molten glass threads to create intricate decorative patterns. A terracotta oil lamp, from the late Imperial Roman era. Made of unglazed clay, it features a classic shape with relief patterns around the body. Ancient Roman Glassware Collectibles And Terracotta Pottery.
