Jan van Huchtenberg, Dutch, 1647 to 1733, etching on paper, Landscape with Marching Soldiers, etching from the Six Landscapes. Signed and inscribed in the print, lower right and left. Stamped with a blind stamp, Musee Du Louvre Chalcographie, lower to the center. Jan van Huchtenberg is known for Landscape, hunting, cavalry genre painting. Jan van Huchtenburg began his artistic education under Thomas Wijk. A journey to Italy, where he visited his brother Jacob, had substantial influence on his work.
