A Russian silver guilloche enamel box or sugar bowl done by Faberge. The piece features a round base, a lid, and decorative elements. Gold washed interior. The base is adorned with a band of guilloche enamel in a delicate pale green shade. There are also small ruby stones set at the top of the band and an overlay decorative motif of gold leaves and roses that encircles the box. The lid is crafted from a clear, cut crystal, with a fan-like design around the edge. The lid has a gilded silver knob that is ornamented with a pine-cone shape and is also set with tiny diamonds. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian silver standard and makers mark on the upper part of the base and the bottom. Provenance: Shapiro Auction, April 8, 2023, Lot 449.
