A Central African patinated cast bronze figurine of three Putchu Guinadji hunting riders with horses of the Sao people from Chad, Central Africa. The figure is engraved with detailed patterns and traditional ornaments. The Putchu Guinadji are metal statues of a horse and rider, originating from the Sao people of Chad. It is believed that, if properly activated by special ritual, these statues help relieve or diminish madness by fighting the demons they believed to cause it.
