A large neo Russian tea caddy made of silver with cloisonne enamel. Of a square and domed shape with a knobbed lid. The body and lid are decorated with silver filigree and cloisonne enamel with alternating panels of multicolored friezes, stylized floral arrangements, and images of mythic Sirin birds flanked by gilded silver columns with carded patterns. The body is also set with cabochon cut gem stones, most likely amethysts and milk and green jades. The lid and bottom are marked with an 88 Russian silver standard and bears the makers mark.
