A large Russian silver kovsh, a traditional oval-shaped drinking vessel or ladle with a single handle. Footed round piece with hooked handle. Ornamental cloisonne enamel surface in blue color palette. The front side is embellished with a miniature painting after Viktor Vasnetsovs 1889 artwork titled Ivan-Tsarevitch Riding the Grey Wolf. The interior is gilt. Hallmark of 88 silver standard and makers mark on the bottom. Total Weight: 286.3 grams. Collectible Russian Silverware, Serveware And Tableware.
