A WWII Russian Soviet era propaganda poster, Slukhi vraga oruzhie, Rumors Are the Enemys Weapon, by Nikolai Muratov, 1908 to 1992, No.20, from the Combat Pencil, Boevoi Karandash series, 1941. Published by LOSKh, Leningrad, 19441 Marked and stamped in the print. Boevoi Karandash is a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings in the middle of the 20th century. This phenomenon of mass art is often referred to as such. Nikolai Muratov was one of the founding artists of the Boyevoi Karandash collective.
