David A. Bumbeck, American, born 1940, a limited edition colored etching on paper, Roses, depicting a portrait of a reclining nude woman with flowers. Signed in pencil, lower to the center. Numbered 5 of 50 and titled in pencil, lower left. Framed. David Bumbeck is known for Printmaking, teaching. Born in 1940, David Bumbeck received his B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and a M.F.A. from Syracuse University. For the last 20 years, he has been a professor at Middlebury College in Vermont. Bumbeck employs techniques of intaglio printmaking such as etching, aquatint, engraving and photo transfer.
