An antique Russian Orthodox icon of Saint Boris and Saint Gleb. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board with kovcheg, decorated with gilding. Inscribed in Church Slavonic, in the upper part. Boris and Gleb were the first saints canonized in Kievan Rus after the Christianization of the country. Circa: mid 19th century.
