Frank Convers Mathewson, 1862 to 1941, was a prolific Rhode Island painter who specialized in watercolors and oils. He is known for his landscapes, florals and marine paintings. He studied at the Academie Julian in Paris with Jean Paul Laurens, and at the National School of Decorative Arts, also in Paris. One of a kind artwork.
