Alexander Ney is an artist and teacher who emigrated from the USSR to the USA. Sculptor, graphic artist, painter and ceramist. One of the representatives of unofficial Russian art. In his early works, the artist expressed his vision through abstract expressionism, and carefully studied the rich cultures of ancient civilizations including Mesopotamia, China, Maya, Africa, Egypt, and others. In addition to developing a unique style in papier mache and painting, Ney is best known for his original contributions to modern sculpture.
