David Alfaro Siqueiros, Mexican, 1896 to 1974, oil painting on canvas depicting an Expressionist male portrait with hands. Signed lower left. Probably dated, on the backside. Provenance: bought 20 years ago from a Private collection in Havana. David Alfaro Siqueiros was a Mexican social realist painter, best known for his large public murals using the latest in equipment, materials and technique. Along with Diego Rivera and Jose Clemente Orozco, he was one of the most famous of the Mexican muralists. Mexican Fine Art, Male Portrait Paintings, Wall Art, and Collectibles.
