A Russian gilt silver footed egg casket with hinged lid. The piece is set with cobalt blue guilloche enamel. Elaborate Neoclassical overlay is garnished with diamonds and rubies. The motifs include dolphins, Imperial eagles, floral ornaments, as well as the dates 1613 and 1913 which refer to the Tercentenary of the Romanov Dynasty. An embellished and enameled frog figurine is set in the interior. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers mark are on the rims. Total Weight: 348.3 grams. The item comes in original box.
