Cyril Power is known for Collaborative abstract linocuts with urban motion themes, paintings, teaching. Depicting the speed, movement and flow of modern urban London in the 1920s and 30s, Cyril Power was one of the pioneers and leading exponents in England of the linocut. He is also well known for his artistic partnership with Canadian artist Sybil Andrews, for co founding The Grosvenor School of Modern Art in London in 1925, and for architecture and teaching.
