A pair of identical antique Japanese copper serving plates with cloisonne enamel design. Late Meiji period, ca. 1895. Round footed pieces. Black ground color. The piece is decorated with a crane and eagle bird motif. Presumably a work of Hayashi Kodenji, 1831 to 1915, a Japanese cloisonne artist. High quality.
