An antique Japanese enamel over copper charger plate, Meiji era, 1880s. The plate is adorned with a polychrome image of three male figures with a large leaf on a turquoise ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The border is covered with polychrome enamel floral and foliate scroll ornaments made in the same technique. The backside is decorated with a swirl motif on a light brown ground.
