A pair of Russian naturalistically hand carved jade figurines, each depicting a standing elephant. The figurines are adorned with engraved detailed patterns and encrusted with gemstone eyes set in gold. Each is marked with the 84 Russian silver standard hallmark and the makers mark on the gilt tusks. They come in a wooden box, which is marked on the inside.
