Igor Kopystiansky, Ukrainian, American, born 1954, a limited edition color lithograph on paper from the portfolio with various artists, Departure from Moscow, 1990. A blind stamp, printed by Domberger, and numbered in pencil, 12 of 100, lower left. Framed. Igor Kopystiansky is a Ukrainian Conceptual artist, who live and work in New York since 1988. He has participated in many Biennales: Venice 1988, Sydney 1992, Sao Paulo 1994, Istanbul 1995, Lyon 1997, Liverpool 1999, as well as Sculpture Project, Munster 1997 and Documenta 11 2002, among others. His works are presented in the following collections: MoMA, Whitney Museum of American Art and Metropolitan Museum, New York, Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington D.C. Modern and Contemporary European and American Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
