An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, enamel over copper belt buckle. The ware consists of two parts with a clasp. The belt buckle is covered with a polychrome design representing a dragon in clouds surrounded by a geometrical ornament on the borders made in the Cloisonne technique. Decorated with scalloped rims.
