An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, enamel over copper belt buckle. The ware consists of two parts with a clasp. The belt buckle is covered with polychrome enamel floral, foliage and butterfly motifs surrounded by a geometrical ornament on the borders made in the Cloisonne technique.
