An antique 18th-century Russian Orthodox icon. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board with gilding. The icon is divided into three parts, it depicts the Feast of the Cross in the upper left, Mother of God with Baby Jesus in the upper right, and Archangles with Apostles in the bottom.
