An antique late 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon representing Saint Nicholas of Myra, also known as the Wonderworker, with the blessing figures of Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The icon is enclosed in a silver riza or oklad with etched and filigree decor.
