A Russian hand carved jade, 88 gilt silver and enamel letter opener. The handle of the opener is covered with a blue Guilloche enamel and decorated with a relief gilt silver snake inlaid with an Emerald stone on the head. Relief parts made in a scrollwork design on a ricasso. The top is adorned with a relief floral pattern and crowned with a Ruby stone. Marked with a Silver standard mark, and other Cyrillic and Assay marks. Russian Silver Wares and Collectibles.
