A vintage French sandstone sculpture by Georges Braque. The artwork represents a Cubist head sculpture with a very tall forehead and hairstyle. Signed with initials on the back side. Mounted on the stone base. Georges Braque, 1882 to 1963, was a major 20th century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most important contributions were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1905, and the role he played in the development of Cubism.
