An antique Russian hand painted icon travel skladen. The central part represents the Resurrection of the Jesus Christ surrounded by Saints and Scenes. The side panels depict the Crucifix and scenes with Myrrh Bearing Women. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. Each scene is inscribed in Church Slavonic. Circa: late 18th century to early 19th century. Russian Icon Painting, Christian Religious Items and Collectibles.
