Oil on canvas painting by Manjit Bawa, 1941 to 2008, an Indian painter, student of Somnath Hore. Bawa is known for his distinctive use of color. The artwork depicts Ganesha, one of the most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon represented as a man with elephant head. Signed by the artist and dated 1999 on the backside. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by the artist. Collectible Contemporary Fine Art, Southeast Asian Artists.
