A vintage Russian Soviet porcelain tea set of Hollyhocks by Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. Design by Larisa Grigorieva. Angara form by sculptor Serafima Yakovleva. The set includes 12 tea cups, 12 saucers, 12 dessert plates, a sugar bowl, a footed fruit bowl, a teapot, a serving plate, and a bowl without lid, all adorned with a floral design featuring 24K gold accents and rims. Marked with a manufacturers red stamp on the bottom. Dated before 1974. Larisa Ivanovna Grigorieva, 1920 to 1997, was a Russian painter, since 1951 an artist of the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. The factory replicated samples of her paintings depicting flowers and fruits. She has participated in exhibitions since 1952, including the Worlds Fair in Brussels in 1958. The Lomonosov Porcelain Factory is the former name of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, is one of the oldest in Europe and the first and one of the largest enterprises in Russia for the production of artistic porcelain products.
