An antique traditional African hand carved wood tribal mask of the Dan people, a Mande ethnic group from northwestern Ivory Coast and neighboring Liberia. They are officially known as Yacouba in Ivory Coast. An oval face is painted red and features a high forehead, a protruding mouth with full lips, and narrow eyes surrounded by a white color.
