Traylen, London. 26 high quality color reproductions accompanied with both original text and parallel modern text by James Laver, an art historian and curator who was Keeper of Prints, Drawings and Paintings at the Victoria and Albert Museum from 1938 to 1959. Thomas Shotter Boys, 1803 to 1874, was an acclaimed English watercolour painter and lithographer. Original Views of London was first published in 1842 and is now considered one of the greatest illustrated books on London.
