A vintage Persian painting on paper, based on a miniature from 1495. The 1972 painting depicts a scene with a group of people walking, a young man carrying an older man, presumably his father, on his back. In the background, angels playing musical instruments are depicted in the sky. Signed lower right. Labeled Franklin Lake Galleries and hand marked Restoration 1495, August, 1972 on the backside. Marquetry frame. Collectible Oriental Islamic Wall Decor, Iranian Miniature.
