A vintage Chinese charcoal stone rubbing on paper. Ca. 1980s. The artwork depicts a horse-drawn chariot with a horseman behind. Inscription in Chinese stamped to the right, Han image stone rubbing. Seal to the bottom left reads Sichuan University Museum Collection. Metal frame. Stone rubbing as an art form was extremely popular during the middle to late Han Dynasty, I to III century AD. Collectible Oriental Asian Graphic Art.
