An ancient Native American hand carved stone axe. Circa 800 to 1500 AD. Arawak or Taino culture, the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean. The large flat conical axe is rounded on the other side. On the sides there is a relief image of two heads. The item is decorated with a geometric pattern. It has a central hole in the middle and four smaller holes along the edges. Native American Folk Arts, Pre Columbian Artifacts, Tribal Ethnic Carvings.
