A Russian gilt silver compact case with hinged lid. Rectangular shape. Embossed and engraved floral exterior. The obverse features a relief portrait of the Emperor Nicholas II against the purple guilloche enamel background, encompassed with diamonds. One of the clasps is also embellished with diamonds. The interior has two hinged compartments and a mirror. Two fitting rings, one holds a chain strap. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers mark are on the inside. Total Weight: 249 grams.
