A Russian picture frame, polished rhodonite sphere with gilt silver fittings. Footed base with green guilloche border. Miniature painting on round enamel plaque depicts a portrait of Pauline Bonaparte, 1780 to 1825, an imperial French princess, sister of Napoleon Bonaparte. The portrait is encompassed with diamonds.
