A vintage Nico-8 table lighter. Footed silver-tone metal piece with hand-engraved inscriptions on the sides, Alternativa 1974, Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Alternativa was a Columbian literary magazine established by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Enrique Santos Calderon, issued from 1974 to 1980. The piece is a limited edition memorabilia created in honor of the magazines establishment. Gabriel Garcia Marquez, 1927 to 2014, was a Colombian writer, one of the most significant authors of 20th century, Noble Prize winner of 1982.
