An antique Chinese export, Qianlong period, Famille Rose hand enameled porcelain tea caddy. The exterior of the ware is hand painted with blossoming flowers, and cartouches painted with fish. Circa: 1740s. These plates are produced for the European export, probably for France where Madame de Pompadour was a style icon in the same period.
