An antique Iranian Kulah Khud helmet. The helmet is decorated with a lot of hand painted scenes of people, a figured arrow noseguard, a finial on the top, temple plume holders, and chain aventail of the West Asian type. Covered with fabric inside. The Kulah Khud helmet originated in late medieval Iran.
