Note: Evsey Evseevich Moiseenko was a Soviet artist born in 1916 in Uvarovichi, which is now part of the Buda-Koshelyovski district of the Gomel region of Belarus. He studied at the Academy of Arts in Leningrad under A.A. Osmyorkin from 1936 to 1947. Moiseenko was awarded the title of Peoples Artist of the USSR in 1970 and was an active member of the USSR Academy of Arts from 1973. He was also a Laureate of the Lenin Prize in 1974 and the USSR State Prize in 1983. His works can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and many regional museums.
